Volunteering

Five people stand behind a sign for Akumal Monkey Sanctuary & Rescued Animals.

We're looking for you!

At Akumal Monkey Sanctuary & Rescued Animals we have many animals under our care, most of them rescued from wildlife trafficking.

To ensure that we keep them in the best possible conditions, we have several Animal Welfare programs, which establish that we keep them in an appropriate space, provide them with proper nutrition, give them medical attention, and very importantly, stimulate them behaviorally through enrichment.

To achieve this, we need many hands; animal lovers who want to contribute their bit to this beautiful cause.

You can be one of them! Apply to our volunteer program
